Execution period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2026
Alastria has received a favourable resolution from the Spanish State Innovation Agency for the project submitted under the 2024 Call for Technological and Innovation Platforms. This support will strengthen the association’s activity throughout the 2025–2026 period.
This is the third consecutive time that Alastria has obtained backing from this funding programme, further consolidating its role as a leading platform in promoting innovation and blockchain technology in Spain.
The grant, awarded under Nº PTR2024-002922, will help reinforce the technological capacity and competitiveness of the Spanish business sector, fostering knowledge exchange, dissemination activities and collaboration to continue strengthening the blockchain community. This call forms part of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
Thanks to this support, Alastria will continue working through its working groups, projects and outreach activities to address key challenges in areas such as:
- Regulation and public policy
- The impact of blockchain across different sectors
- Dissemination and scaling of use cases
- Blockchain governance and standards
- Promotion of self-sovereign digital identity
